White Bear Lake, MN, December 20, 2004 - The World
Snowmobile Association, the worldwide leader in snowmobile
racing, is proud to announce Carlisle as a sponsor of the
2004-2005 WSA Snocross Worldwide Championship.
Carlisle Power Transmission produces the Max 2 and Ultimax
3 snowmobile drive belts and is the major supplier of
original equipment snowmobile belts. Over the past six
decades, Carlisle has engineered and manufactured belts
for industry's most critical applications, and Carlisle
belts can be found on most of the snocross sleds fans will
see racing the WSA SWC this winter. Heat build-up in drive
belts costs horsepower, and the double cog design of
Ultimax 3 belts dissipates heat and aids flexibility. More
racers win with Carlisle belts than with any other brand.
“Ultimax 3 snowmobile drive belts are the best money can
buy. The WSA is excited to be working with Carlisle, the
makers of the Ultimax 3 belt in bringing the WSA Snocross
Worldwide Championship to snowmobile racing fans around
the world,” said WSA CEO Scott O’Malley.
The WSA is the worldwide leader in snowmobile racing. The
WSA SWC tour consists of 10 races and is an international
circuit with races held in the United States and Canada.
It is the premier snowmobile racing circuit in the world.
