Dayton,
OH - January 17, 2005 - Snowmobile fanatics converged
upon Eagle River Wisconsin from January 7th to the 16th
for the 42nd running of the world championship snowmobile
derby. Carlisle—the acknowledged leader in snowmobile
belts—was a major sponsor, following a tradition that
began more than 30 years ago.
Oval speedsters, acrobatic freestyle riders, big
bore motorcycles and high flying sno-cross pilots
competed in the granddaddy of all snowmobile
events. Gary Moyle of Houghton, MI won the world
title race on an Arctic Cat with an
Ultimax3 belt. Josh and Jon Zelinski swept the
Carlisle sponsored pro sno-cross events.
Bill Wroblewski, Carlisle V.P. of Operations
interviewed for a segment on Snowmobiler TV.

As the leader in snowmobile belts, Carlisle is dedicated
not only to a quality product, but also to the sport.
Carlisle continues to work closely with sled
manufacturers to develop the belts that will go on next
year’s bigger and stronger machines. And when the OEM
belt needs a replacement, Carlisle’s Ultimax3
aftermarket snowmobile belts have no equal.

The typical snowmobile rider may not reach the extremes
experienced by their racing counterparts, but the
typical snowmobiler isn’t just out for a Sunday drive,
either. That’s why OEMs, world champion racers, and
enthusiasts alike, choose to rely on Carlisle snowmobile
belts.
